The index is arranged alphabetically by last name and provides the following information: Name of Deceased, Service #, Grdn, Section, Lot, Sb, Sp, Sex, Age, Service Date, Type, and Veteran.

The records pertain to both New Greencastle Cemetery and Old Greencastle Cemetery, which are burial grounds of some of the founders of Dayton.
